Khao Lak in Phang-Nga

      Khao Lak (Hat Khaolak) has a number of years is a popular destination for visitors to Thailand and its popularity is growing every year. How many beach destinations in the kingdom, the region has beautiful white sand beaches and crystal clear water. Although Khao Lak was one of the worst affected areas in the 2004 tsunami, a massive relief operation has returned to the area right now (April 2005) Tourism is once again operational and large hotels in the open area.

Hat Surin in Phang-Nga

      About 24 kilometers from the town is Hat Surin, which can be reached on Highway 402. After reaching the Heroines Monument, turn left and continue for 12 km.
The beach is bordered by a hill. To the north are large groves of pine trees and a golf course. Surin beach is not recommended for swimming because of its slope and the wind and rough seas during the monsoon.

      Hat Khao Lak, 32 miles of Takua Pa, is now an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists.
It has an advantage of the beautiful long beach of Andaman Sea and green mountain of Khao Lak in parallel Lamru Coast National Park. The accommodation of Takua Pa along Khao Lak and Bang Sak Beach are built in the architectural style of the south. With the combination of hospitality of local people who love nature and the environment, the coastal town of Khao Lak, Takuapa has its unique charm and attract tourists to the area.

Ao Mae Yai in Phang-Nga

There are ten bays of Surin Islands with great beaches. Ao Mae Yai is probably the best known of all. Located in the southwest of Surin Nua (Southern Surin Island) Ao Mae Yai has white sand and beautifully calm, crystal clear waters. Faced with a dramatic scenario, it is a great place for swimming, snorkeling and diving. This is a very quiet just sit around sunbathing or relaxing in general.

There are ten bays of Surin Islands with great beaches. Ao Luk on the south coast of Koh Surin Nua (North Surin Island) is probably the most visited. It offers excellent water and a paradise for snorkelers. The beach is shallow reefs and rich marine life and dive is simple and accessible. Near the beach are a series of trails that offer tours to more adventurous.
