Karon Beach Phuket is another exquisite range. It is essentially a stereotypical image of paradise - Long Beach, sand dunes and palm trees along the crystal clear water! Surprisingly, Karon Beach offers much more ... Unlike other beaches, Karon is not too developed. In recent years, a number of hotels and restaurants have sprung up, but there are still large areas of open land that has not been built. For your convenience, there is a paved walkway with lighting that operates in parallel with the beach and offers easy access to the best hotels around. All this gives to the beach only a pleasant feeling "familiar." The bars usual souvenir shops and tailors that may appear elsewhere, have been kept away from the beach and assigned to the road from the main road inside. It has become a quite lively, with trendy bars compete with restaurants that offer a variety of cuisines. Karon is one of the few beaches where surf conditions permit and the switches are wide of the coast from June to September. Really should be a skilled surfer trying the waves, surfboards, but are available for hire from the beach anyway!
Directions: Songtaews run from Ranong Road in Phuket City to Karon Beach, on a regular basis. The fare is 20 baht per person - clearly the most simple and most effective way to get there.
