Karon Beach Phuket is another exquisite range. It is essentially a stereotypical image of paradise - Long Beach, sand dunes and palm trees along the crystal clear water! All this gives to the beach only a pleasant feeling "familiar." Karon is one of the few beaches where surf conditions permit and the switches are wide of the coast from June to September. Hat Kamala Beach in Kamala Bay is located about 20 minutes north of Patong Beach. In recent years the beach has turned into a resort with all the needs of modern tourists, but has not lost its original identity - like Kalim Beach Kamala is much more relaxed than some of the other areas of Phuket. It is also very quiet - the beach is usually deserted, ideal for a 'sun or just sit and relax. A number of hotels and guest houses sit along the road to the beach and provide housing that meets any budget. A number of stalls that sell fresh food at very reasonable prices means that you can take something every day if you want! For those looking for a great view, Khao Phanthurat is about 30 meters above sea level and high you can get an excellent view of Kamala 2.5 km "half moon" on a bay. Phuket Fantasea is located north of the beach.

Hat Kalim Beach is a quiet and attractive enough to be away from it all, but still close enough to the action to be fun.
